"I like to turn things on their head," says Ayesha. Turn a stone upward in a hoop earring and you pull color close to your face which is where you want it. Rather than have the stone dangle from the bottom of the earring, it finds a place in the center of the hoop. The stone(s) are framed by the delicate wire of the hoop making the them the focal point.
