Vermeil and Bi-metal

Vermeilis often confused with the general term "plating".  In order to call something vermeil it must have a base of sterling silver, a minimum of 10K gold fineness and be 2.5 microns in thickness.   Ours is 2.5 microns of 18K yellow gold.  Luxurious,durable and authentic in color.  Read more

Bi-metal is manufactured by the gold producer.  A layer of 18K yellow gold is fused onto the silver affording the greatest durability.
